Color photo:

Applications needed:
1. Adobe Photoshop (almost any version)

Procedure:
1. Open the photo you want to convert to B&W
2. Open the Hue/Saturation dialog by clicking CTRL+U (Command + U)

3. Bring the Saturation slide completely to the left (-100)
4. Press OK
5. Open the Levels dialog by clicking CTRL+L (Command + L)
6. Bring the first pointer from right until it reaches the beginning of the graph

7. Bring the first pointer from left until it reaches the beginning of the graph from the other side

8. If the graph was already began from the left and there was no empty place, bring the left slider to the right just to enrich the blacks in the photo
